Meadow mania (Wild Amersham) – 2nd May
We’re looking for volunteers to help put up signs, and nest boxes, plant wildflowers and help rake cuttings in Amersham hospital meadows.
Wildlife Discovery Day – 12th July
The Chilterns Open Air Museum is running a Wildlife Discovery Day for adults and children.
Take part in guided walks through beautiful chalk meadows with Wild Amersham, or discover pond life up close with the Bucks Amphibian and Reptile Group. Younger visitors can enjoy creative crafts and hands-on nature activities. Fun for everyone!

If you’re aged between 18 and 25 break free from the ordinary and reconnect with nature and history in Amersham.
Volunteer in nature: watering the hedges – March and April
Ten child and adult volunteers helped water the 300 newly planted hedglings at St Mary’s School and Amersham Band to keep them alive in the spring drought.
