You’re never too young to appreciate nature, and there are many local activities which support this:
- Black Park forest school events – a variety of activities for your child to go wild and many Forest School skills to learn about. This includes crafts, tools, campfire skills (seasonal), bug hunting, games stations, the digging pit, water play and more!
- The EcoHub in Berkhamsted – each month will cover a different topic with expert speakers and panels, tips on easy changes, general information, teens space for developing eco ideas and a fun children’s event – plus delicious refreshments
- Nature Champions at Amersham – increase engagement with the natural world for members of the Amersham community, by providing fun and educational sessions based at Amersham Field Centre, Mop End
- Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust events – regular nature and sustainability events for all ages
- Tring museum – local nature and history-focused events for families
- Iver Environment Centre – nature and environment activities and ‘drop-off days’ for families and children
