- The Bucks, Berkshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust welcomes adult volunteers and also organises volunteering days for children and teenagers, including at Tring College Lake reserve not far from Amersham.
- The Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust has volunteering opportunities for adults and children, including in Frogmoor nature reserve near Chenies, not far from Amersham.
- The Chiltern Chalk Streams Project of the Chilterns National Landscape needs volunteers to help with river monitoring and on outdoor work parties; its webpage also shows other local river projects that need support.
- The Chiltern Rangers organise regular outdoor volunteer work parties for adults and teenagers to help support local organisations improve nature on their land.
- The Chiltern Society has teams of volunteers working on nature reserves across the Chilterns.
- Tracking the Impact of the Chilterns National Landscape need people to help monitor wildlife; full training and support is given.
- Prestwood Nature organises regular outdoor volunteer work parties at the two sites it manages, Boug’s Meadow in Great Missenden and the Pollinator Friendly Garden in Prestwood. It also has other volunteering opportunities.
- The Chesham Environmental Group organises litter picks and nature work parties on nature sites in Chesham and on the river Chess.
- The River Misbourne Action Group organises volunteer conservation work on the Misbourne as well as river monitoring.
- The Leather Lane Conservation Group works on bat conservation in Great Missenden and welcomes volunteers.
- Walkwood is a privately owned wood near Latimer; its owners are trying to restore it back to health and organise regular woodland volunteering days.
