Hedge planting ‘Wild Gym’ – 15th February
Come and help plant young native trees together with other volunteers to create a biodiverse hedge for wildlife.
River Misbourne Walk – 15th February
Despite very cold and wet weather, 25 people turned up for a walk along the Misbourne.
Allen Beechy had lots of interesting information to impart, about the rarity and nature of chalk streams, the history of the Chiltern Chalk Streams project, the plants and animals that live in the Misbourne, and the threats faced by this precious habitat.
Climate Fresk online workshop – 7th February
Climate Fresk is a facilitated interactive workshop. In just three hours, it will help you understand the implications of the IPCC report. Using 42 cards, collaborate to work out cause and effect, leading to a renewed sense of purpose and a personal plan of action.
Community Swap Cafe – 1st February
Swap or buy pre-loved toys, costumes, clothes or books, for children. Have a cuppa and a chat while helping your pocket, the planet and your sanity! Kids are really welcome 🙂
