2pm to 4pm, at Amersham Hospital.
We will rake fallen leaves off the meadows at Amersham Hospital to stop them getting too nutrient rich (which most wildflowers do not like). The leaves will be piled up for amphibians, hedgehogs and the like to overwinter in!
This event is open to anyone who is happy to help. You need to be reasonably fit and wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. The event is free and there will be homemade cake. There are toilets and parking onsite.
It’s great fun and a satisfying team effort. Come and pitch in!
