Wild Amersham was given funding by the Amersham and Villages Community Board to create a logo. We wanted to involve the community, so made this a competition for young people.
The top 3 entries came from those taking the graphic design course at Amersham College. Roza Wojtakowska won first prize for her design. This shows coralroot, a rare plant that only occurs in a few places in the UK, including Amersham. It also appears in the Amersham Town Council crest.
Roza was given a prize of art materials with a value of £50 with which she was very pleased. We wish her all the best in her future as a graphic designer and will be using her logo going forward.
