Sustainable Amersham is starting a new project to help local families with kids understand the risks of a warming planet, where people and nature are in danger. We want to help them take steps to create a future where our little ones can thrive.
The first activities of the project are:
1. a monthly newsletter with “10 things to do with your kids to save their planet” including curated local events and fun ideas to do at home.
2. Talk with parents about climate change impacts and solutions, and hear of their challenges. This will be done at existing events such as the Repair Cafe or new ones such as a kids eco-cafe.
3. Create projects and content to support families on their journey: infographics, activities for home, campaigns to engage kids on sustainable activities.
