Do you love nature? Are you creative? Are you 12 to 18?
Wild Amersham is looking for a brand new logo to use as part of their work to bring more nature to Amersham!
Wild Amersham is part of Sustainable Amersham. We encourage people to enjoy, learn about and support local nature. We organise nature events and support the community to help biodiversity in Amersham. Our volunteers currently help Amersham Band, St Mary’s School and Amersham Hospital manage their land for nature. We also monitor local species to see how nature is doing.
We would like to invite young people aged 12 to 18 living or going to school in Amersham or Chesham Bois to design a logo for us, to be used as part of our communications in the future. Wild Amersham would like to have a logo that is:
- clear, simple and beautiful!
- easily recognisable and memorable
- motivational
- has a link with what we do
- is easy to use on social media and elsewhere.
Participants are also welcome to suggest a “tag line” for our work. Designs need to be easy to use and suitable for social media, our website and publications, so we would need a variety of formats. We suggest that you submit a 1:1 format initially.
Designs – with name, email and telephone number, and your age and school, can be sent to wildamersham@gmail.com. Your information will be protected by our GDPR policy.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on 30 June. The winner of the contest will be announced on the 15th of July on our website and via email. This competition is sponsored by the Amersham Community Board.
Winners will be selected by a panel of Wild Amersham members, artists or designers and nature experts. The winning prize will be given £50 to spend on nature or art activities, subscriptions or materials.
