Amersham Heritage Day will make a return on the 4th of September 2022, and it brings many festivities with it. The event will take place from 11:30 am until 5 p.m and includes activities such as a petting zoo, a marching band, football activities from Amersham Town F.C. and Morris Dancers. Additionally, there will also be pubs, fairground rides, classic cars and market stalls on the High Street. Alongside these fun-filled activities, Sustainable Amersham’s Plastic Free Team will also be running a recycling stall so that event go-ers can take an environmentally conscious step during the festivities. These efforts are to reduce the waste which goes to the landfill and the team will ensure that all the waste is separated and appropriately recycled. This is their second time hosting the stall, after a very successful stint at the Chesham Bois Fete. So, make sure to attend the festivities of Heritage Day and drop a visit to the recycling stall to minimise your impact and create a greener, cleaner and happier Amersham!
