Wild Amersham organised a ‘Creatures of the Night’ activity for thirteen St Mary’s School children and their equally excited parents. Working with the fun and knowledgeable Julie Hopton, the children used bat detectors to listen out for Soprano bats (who conveniently decided to fly around just above their heads), hunted for bugs in the wildflowers, made bat masks and generally had a wild time in the dark.
