Chalk stream ecology talk and river Misbourne walk – 23rd November

2pm to 4pm – St Mary’s Church, HP7 0DB

Everyone is welcome to this free talk and guided walk along the river Misbourne.

The talk will be held in St Mary’s Church rooms and the walk will start and end in St Mary’s churchyard (Church St Amersham HP7 0DB)

On the day a chalk river expert will give us a short talk about chalk river ecology and the special nature of chalk streams. Then they’ll lead an easy walk along the river Misbourne.

The ground can be wet and slippery this time of the year, so come prepared with sturdy shoes or wellies and dress appropriately for the weather. Feel free to bring snacks and a hot drink to warm up.

To book please email wildamersham@sustainableamersham.org

This event is supported by the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project (CCSP) and Wild Amersham, part of Sustainable Amersham. We are a local community group that encourages local people to appreciate and protect local nature. We organise nature events and help restore local habitats.
