Sustainable Amersham’s Book Club

 TheSustainable AmershamBook Clubis open to everyone! 

We meet every few months on a weekday evening in Amersham.  

Anyone can dip in and out of it, depending on whether you can make the date, or are interested in the next book.  

To give you an idea of the these are the books we have read since we started, which are a mixture of non-fiction and fiction. 

Ravenous: How to Get Ourselves and Our Planet Into Shape by Henry Dimbleby, author of the National Food Strategy.  

The Overstory by Richard Powers 

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, to delve into indigenous wisdom, scientific knowledge, and the teachings of plants. 

Wasteland– by Oliver Franklin Wallace -the current read for 2nd July 2024
