Sustainable Amersham is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) that works with local individuals, organisations and businesses to create a more sustainable future and explore, protect and restore nature in Amersham, Chesham Bois and surrounding areas.
As a CIO, we are required to have members who vote at our AGM about what work we should prioritise. The more members we have, the more we are able to positively influence the future sustainability and nature of our local area. Join us!
As a member, you’re entitled to vote at our Annual General Meeting on the priorities and direction of our work, so your voice genuinely has a say in what we focus on. You’re also welcome to join any of our quarterly planning sessions to find out what we’re doing and share your ideas and suggestions.
Membership is free and open to all aged 16 and over. While we welcome any help members can give, there are no formal commitments for members other than supporting our values and aims.
