10.00 to 15.00 – Amersham Hospital Dermatology Entrance B (at the back of the Hospital)
Wild Amersham has been supporting Amersham Hospital to increase biodiversity on site. We have put up nest boxes and bee hotels, and we have restored the lawns to wildflower meadows. The meadows have markers along the edges and signs for the public.
We will be putting up two more signs and nest boxes, replace some of the string between the markers, plant wildflower plugs donated by the Community Board, and rake up the cuttings from some of the meadow where the grass is very dominant.
We would welcome volunteers who are willing to come and help:
- morning session – 10:00 to 12:30
- afternoon session – 13:00 to 15:00
Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Bring your own mug; we will provide hot drinks and cake. Bring lunch if you are staying all day.
