Social media contributor
We are looking for volunteers to help run our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok).
– Produce new content such as posts, reels, stories
– Posts about the various awareness dates that align with our goals
Local press writer
We need help writing articles for various local publications (such as Local Directory, Bucks Free Press etc.).
Our volunteers would periodically write articles about events that we have held such as the Repair Cafe and liaise with the publications in order to raise our profile.
Passionate about reducing plastic waste?
Our Plastic Free project group needs volunteers to identify opportunities for reducing plastic waste and work with local organisations to assist them in doing this.
We are looking for volunteers to help keep our recycling information updated:
– Update website with new recycling opportunities
– Keep updated on changes to existing recycling channels
– Promote recycling in our events
Repair Cafe volunteer
Come to our Repair Cafe event and help us organise this well-loved event:
– Welcome and registration stand
– Help direct customers to repairers
– Make or bring cake and biscuits
– Serve hot drinks, cake and biscuits
Brand guidelines and style guide
We’re looking for someone to create brand guidelines and a style guide, based on our current branding of the website and other materials.
This will give consistency across all Sustainable Amersham and project group communications: website, social media (posts, reels, stories), newsletters, flyers, etc.
