Volunteer with us

Sustainable Amersham is entirely powered by volunteers – come and join us! We are a very friendly group and are grateful for all support and time spared.

All our projects (such as Waste Matters, the Repair Café, and Wild Amersham) have a variety of volunteering roles, some occasional, others a few hours a month and others are more regular – there’s something for everyone. You could help present us at information stalls; write social media posts; research local nature or campaigns to partner with; help out at children’s events; support our bookkeeping; or work outdoors in nature. You may even have ideas for a new project we could do!

You only need to be over 16 and keen to do something for sustainability or nature. You don’t need any experience and will meet lots of lovely people, learn a lot and help protect our town. For more information email hello@sustainableamersham.org and we will be in touch. If you work for a business, it could sign up for 1% for the Planet, and then any time you volunteer will count towards your organisation’s 1% contribution.

Join our newsletter here to receive monthly email updates on what we are doing, including any volunteer opportunities and events you could come to.
